QUICK TIP. This not-so-pleasant picture from our Monday / Mmmm post this week reminds us of the 8+ year-old burger and fries we used to bring to presentations. What an impact (especially to our teen crowds) it makes to see a hardened but perfectly unchanged “food” item covered in tons of salt, preservatives, fillers, and chemicals. The fries even smelled the distinct smell of the place we got them, 8 years later!! A good rule of thumb is if it doesn’t rot, eat it rarely or even not at all. Real food rots and we think that’s pretty rad.
