Have you noticed that when you make sure to have protein as a part of your meal or snack you feel more full over the course of the day?

You’re less apt to snack and you aren’t looking at the clock wondering when you’re next meal is?

This is true, especially when you have protein with BREAKFAST.

Science backs this up. A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that young women who ate a protein-packed breakfast had lower levels of food-craving-related brain activity and increased levels of leptin, a hormone that tells you when you’re full. They also snacked less on foods high in calories at night.

This is just one of the many reasons why high-protein breakfasts are an essential part of our gym nutrition challenges and a great place to start if you want to incorporate more healthy habits into your lifestyle.
