Negotiations. Today I set a goal of 3 laps of a hill. At lap 2 I started negotiating with myself. “Your legs are tired” “You didn’t eat enough” “Do more tomorrow.”
Do you do this to yourself?
I decided at top of lap 2 to leave my vest knowing I would have to turn around and do lap 3 bc my vest would be at the top.
Stop negotiating with yourself.
“I’ll hit snooze bc I’m tired. I’ll start tomorrow. It’s my friend’s birthday. I’ve had a hard week.”
Excuses will find you. It is up to you and you only to choose the hard choice. Stop running in the hamster wheel of your goals. You need to get out and forge ahead.
That is where change will happen.
