Our Metabolic Conditioning (MetCon) classes are our twist on cardio and include movements that benefit the heart and lungs and promote more muscular endurance. While class-only memberships are available, they really are the perfect complement to our strength-focused Semi-Private sessions. For this reason, all MetCon classes are included in our Semi-Private Membership packages.
MetCon workouts consist of circuit-style stations using equipment such as resistance bands, medicine balls, stability balls and your own bodyweight. We design this hour-long class to put a special focus on engaging the core, activating multiple muscles at once and moving in different directions to be functional for everyday life movements. Come burn calories and increase the strength of your heart, lungs and muscles in our fun, friendly environment!
We invite those interested in MetCon class-only memberships to come try out a class for free! (see form below). While MetCon classes are welcoming to many varying levels of fitness, if you have concerns about your ability to physically participate in this high-energy, less-personalized option, we encourage you to skip the free class and, instead, set up a time to come in for a free Strategy Session. A coach will perform a simple Functional Movement Screen and collaborate with you on the best plan of action, as we do recommend Semi-Private membership for those where the addition of custom programming and more personal attention would be most appropriate.
